Danielle Towers is a photographer from the Chicago suburbs whose practice engages narratives about age, place, memory and legacy.

Danielle is currently living in Washington, D.C. earning her BFA in photojournalism at the Corcoran School of Arts and Design at the George Washington University, set to graduate this spring. 

Danielle is the Co-President of GW’s National Press Photographer Association (NPPA) chapter and worked for GW’s main student publication, The GW Hatchet as a photo editor & photographer for three years. Danielle has held internships with photographers Clarissa Bonet and Jared Soares. Through NPPA’s mentorship program, Danielle has had the opportunity to learn from photographer September Dawn Bottoms.

Danielle’s photos have been published by Stereogum and Bloomberg Businessweek and her work has been exhibited through Photoville (NYC) and at Touchstone Gallery (D.C.)

Danielle is available for editorial and commercial assignments as well as creative collaborations and assisting work.
